It’s that time again! Time for Friday Favorites and it’s Katie’s Week!
#1: Outdoor Waterproof Fold-up Picnic Blanket!This item was given to me for review years ago when I had my other blog and my kids were much smaller. To this day, we use this constantly. I actually keep it in the back on my SUV at all times! I love that it’s waterproof, you can throw it in the washing machine when it gets dirty (b/c it WILL get dirty), it has a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder (so many other brands don’t have the longer strap), and it EASILY folds back up! This is one of my go-to baby shower gifts! It’s only $30!
#2: These glass mason jar mugs are totally a simple pleasure. I love making fancy cocktails in them or just drinking my bubblr’ out of them. They make me happy, that’s really all there is to it!
#3. Love this simple bar and coin necklace and it’s a $10 Amazon win!
#4. I shared these PJ shorts a few weeks ago in our stories and so many of you send us messages saying you have the same ones and they are your favorite as well! Well ladies, we have good taste in comfy PJ shorts. They are the best and under $15!
#5. I am obsessed with these Lands’ End rugby beach towels. They are my #1 gift for all the kids in my life. Every single one of my nieces and nephew’s (as well as my own kids, of course) have a rugby beach towel with their initials. It’s so cute when they all use them together at the lake!! And those initials come in handy b/c there are so many kids that a few of them have the same colors.
#6: Ok, so I do not have this exact YETI cooler, but we have the RTIC one that is identical to it. Ours is sold out – except for a camo (but not a good camo) print that I just cannot get onboard with so I shared this one instead. We have been doing lots of picnics and bike rides since March (like everyone else in this COVID world) and this backpack cooler has been fantastic. Pack this and your picnic blanket and you’re set! It’s pricey, but it’s worth it. It will be the last cooler we will ever buy. It’s our “forever cooler” haha!
#7: Did you know that smell has a stronger link to memory and emotion than any of the other senses?! The smell of this holiday tea from Harney and Sons will forever remind me of our after-bar shenanigans in Logan’s college home. Logan lived with six other guys in college and every night when we would get home from the bar (I was usually working and hadn’t been drinking), one of Logan’s roommates would make me a cup of this tea, he would smoke some grass, and we would all chat about what we want to do with our lives. Oh to be young and carefree again! Holiday and Cinnamon Sunset are my absolute favorite flavors. Also, I am 99% sure I had no idea I was drinking caffeinated tea at 2am! I wouldn’t dream of doing that now! haha!
