Our family loves to eat soup on Christmas Eve, and this Ham and White Bean Soup would be perfect. Whether you’re in charge of cooking this holiday or just want something warm and cozy this winter, this soup would be perfect!!
We have had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Jones Dairy Farm now for about 6 months and everything we try of theirs, we love! Their pork breakfast sausages were what got me hooked initially, but every product I have tried of theirs has continued to impress me. The flavor and quality ingredients are outstanding. I also love that their products are all gluten free, which is especially hard to come by for meatballs. My family absolutely loves the chicken meatballs. I featured them in my Mediterranean Chicken Meatball Bowl recipe.
Ham and White Bean Soup Ingredients
This soup is the perfect combination of ingredients, and the ham shines! I am using the Uncured Heritage Half ham which is always fresh, never frozen and has the perfect smoked flavor. Browning the ham first gives the soup so much flavor. I also love the combination of beans, potatoes, and vegetables in this recipe. It’s nutritious and hearty! You can pair it with your favorite crusty bread or crackers too.
While you’re at it, just plan on doubling the recipe. Whether you decided to bring some to a friend or neighbor.. or freeze half of it, you’ll be happy you did! We love doubling recipes to freeze for future use! We have some great soup recipes on our site, you can check them all out here.
Cheers to soup season, friends!
