Welcome to the new home of Everyday M&K! Our “home” has evolved over the years. Back in September of 2019, we started this journey together as a blog and social media accounts. An M&K office has been a dream and she is finally here! Thanks to many of you joining us as we figured it all out and our social accounts and our business began to grow! Our little piece of the internet was taking up a large piece of our homes and we knew we wanted to have a space to call our own.
The search for an office space started in 2023 with pursuing rental websites and finally in 2024 seeing spaces in person. It proved to be trickier than expected and we ended up working with a realtor to help us with our search.
While our Pinterest boards were filled with loft spaces with large windows and tall ceilings, finding that on the west side of Madison within our budget proved to be impossible. The first space we put an offer in on, was rejected, but we knew we would find something. Our team member Abby took the lead on finding potential spaces. We ended up finding two spaces that would work! One space offered a ton of square footage, probably more than what we needed and a second, small, retro office space. Both required some major TLC.
And the winning M&K Office is…
We landed on the smaller, retro office and so glad we did! Isn’t she beautiful? What we thought would be a little lipstick to the space, expanded to over a month of blood, sweat, and tears to get the space to be exactly what we wanted! With the help of our amazing team, Abby and Lindsey, we knocked out the demo in a couple of days. Ripping out carpet, removing wallpaper, and taking old ceiling tiles took a toll on our lungs and bodies, but it was absolutely worth it! We were able to do all of the painting and wallpaper installation ourselves too! After all of the demo, Brett and Logan helped with flooring, trim, and hanging things on the walls. It was a team effort, but we got it done!
There was certainly a steep learning curve during this experience, but are so grateful to have our own physical space now. Working from your home has its advantages, but there are also some drawbacks, as many of you can probably relate. Being able to separate our work from our home (at least somewhat) both physically and mentally was much needed for us.
We love our space and glad our team has a place to gather. We are excited to finally be able to share it with you all! Lastly, a big thank you to our amazing photographer and friend Destiny … an honorary member of the M&K team. Here is our Everyday M&K HQ space!

Paint Color & Wallpaper
We wanted something fun and inviting for our meeting space. The walls are painted Alabaster from Sherwin Williams. To make a pop we went with Boho Blossom Peel & Stick Wallpaper from Love vs Design. Love vs. Design allows you to edit the colors to match your space! The colors here are burnt, sun, cake, wheat.

Our Studio Space!
Videos and photos are kind of our thing. Having a place with good lighting and fun backgrounds are a must. Each space has its own unique spin!
One thing to note, the couch is more for looks than comfort!
The chair featured here is again, more for looks than comfort!
