We focus on affordable fashion (for the most part), but we also have people request more sustainable options or want to pay more for a good quality piece. We’ve got you!

Starting off with a summer staple: denim shorts
Denim shorts are a spring break and summer staple! We ordered a LOT of shorts and found our top 3! We are different body types – Melissa is an hourglass and Katie is a rectangle. The shorts we found fit great on both of us are all true to size. Katie is in a 25 regular in every pair and Melissa is in a 26 regular in every pair (and a curvy in the Abercrombie – medium price point option).
Low | Medium | High Denim Shorts
Melissa is wearing the High-Rise Vintage Midi Jean Short Medium Wash and Katie is wearing the Light blue. The shorts checked all the boxes, no gaping, fit true to size, and plenty of leg room. They have great coverage and come in different styles.
We love a good high rise short! They have a good stretch, length, and love the side slit! Also love that this style comes in curvy and regular fits, so you can choose what works best for your body. We are in the dark wash.
The Parker long short has less stretch, but fits well in all the right places! Great length, no gaping, and plenty of the room in the legs.
This trend is so big right now and we are here for it! It’s a super flattering style that defines your waist and can be dressed up or down! We had to kiss quite a few frogs for these, but these are all fabulous options at different price points. Ok, let’s dive in!
Low | Medium | High Trousers
Katie is in an xsmall and Melissa is in a small, the xs worked for M as well, but she’s wearing a small in this photo. These are great because they come in 21 colors and are available in short, long and tall! We are wearing the regular length here and we are 5’2”.
Katie is in an xsmall here, but really needs the xxsmall and Melissa is in an xsmall. These have the widest leg of the three and really define the waist! They come in black and tan and only one length.
Katie is in a 25 and Melissa is in a 26 (both in the regular length). These are more fitted through the hips and are Katie’s absolute favorite. They come in 8 colors – including a really fabulous bright blue! So fun! They come in short/medium/tall! We felt these were easier to wear a flat or a heel with because of the slightly different leg cut.
As the price goes up with each pant, so does the quality, but honestly, we love them all!
Low | Medium | White Sneakers
Perfect affordable option that will go with jeans, shorts, or a cute midi dress. These provide a sporty flare that will be your go to for everyday shoes.
Good ol’ Nike running shoe will always be a classic. They provide support, comfort, and style that will last in your closet for years. We love the muted colors that make this white shoe have flare!
So our grandparents had it right all along? Velcro is the way to go! Veja’s are iconic and will always have a place in the fashion world. We love this brand and style! There are many color options to choose from, you can’t go wrong!
A good white sneaker is a necessity in every wardrobe.

The classic and most requested item…the basic t-shirt! We tried so many options and here are our top three picks!
Low | Medium | The Basic T-Shirt
Melissa’s jersey knit relaxed t-shirt is the softest and so comfortable! She is wearing a size small.
Katie’s short-sleeve cropped crewneck t-shirt is a favorite for the length and neckline. Comes in great stripes and colors! She is wearing a size small.
Melissa’s t-shirt a soft fitted cotton tee. She is wearing a size small.
Katie’s t-shirt has a great black stripe and the perfect crop fit. She is wearing a size x-small, if you are between sizes, size up.
Melissa’s is wearing a lightweight and super soft, cotton with a subtly textured drape. It’s finished with turnback sleeves and a boxy fit. She is wearing a small, but would probably go with an x-small.
Katie’s slightly oversized t-shirt is made with performance stretch knit. Great for everyday, active, and travel wear! She is wearing an x-small.
