Instant Pot Spicy Gouda Mac and Cheese
This homemade Instant Pot Spicy Gouda Mac and Cheese takes less time than box mac and cheese. It's delicious and is ready in under 10 minutes.

- 12 oz pasta
- 2.5 cups broth chicken
- 1 tbsp hot sauce optional
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ TSP onion powder
- 1 ½ cups (or block) Roth cheese gouda
- 1 cup milk
Add pasta, broth, hot sauce, butter and seasoning to the Instant pot and mix to combine.
Cook time will vary depending on pasta. The rule of thumb for Instant Pot pasta is take the cook time, cut in half and subtract 2.
So if the cook time is 8 minutes on the box, cut in half would be 4. And then subtract 2. Total cook time would equal 2.
Release pressure and uncover.
Add in 1 cup of milk and cheese and stir to combine.
Top with additional cheese, extra hot sauce, and a little parsley!
